Returning things are a pain in the ass requiring obtaining packaging (if it didn't come with the product where you can reuse it), doing the packaging and getting it picked up. It also frequently costs to ship the return.
I'm just listing the problems that are offputting to me. If I had some daily help or every other day, that would be different but it's just me and the cats and believe me, their interest in packaging is attacking it (which is fun for me, too).
