I remember the tainted blood scandal (contaminated by AIDS virus) that killed thousands in France.
I also remember the Mad Cow Disease.
And the Bovine with hormones.

What we eat is an extremely sensitive issue and that's why more and more countries apply the precautionary principle.

And obesity is a trend that seems to invade Europe too; anything that will slow it is good.
