Corporate fiscal abuses are, and always have been, small beans compared to the massive waste and fraud in the government. Most of the stuff the government does with money would have any private citizen hurled into prison. Social Security, for example, would be a Ponzi scheme in any real-life situation (paying investors off with money from other investors instead of actual investments). Don't expect hearings on this, though.
