The nuclear weapons are Russian made - missing from Russian inventories. We are hardly in a position to enforce accountability over the events which took place as the USSR crumbled.

The missing weapons grade plutonium is from europe, russia and a small portion is from US inventories.

However, you will recall even in the McCarthy era - the Rosenbergs had a large group of vociferous defenders proclaiming their actions were just and they should not be executed. Many still to this day believe they were set up despite all the evidence to the contrary.

In a political vacuum accountability is swift. In today's age we have the "Hansens" and "Lees" all around us - and little political and PUBLIC will to dig them out, reign them in and put them in the stockades.
