Re: Kabul Police Find Bomb . . .

<There will be no peace anywhere.
It is almost a sign of the times.

More a sign of human existence than the "times" we live in.

Even if we get international peace accomplished, there will always be the unrest that drives those to do their acts of violence.

Only as long as we remain human -- but we are working to correct even that.

These could be provoked from anger, resentment, hatred or the lack of a decent home life.

They are provoked by the West pointing the Middle East's many, many errors in social and economic judgement. Truculent children refusing their assignments, their education, and their school invariably end up in the office, and adjustments to the child are made -- in the school, as well as in the home. The same is true of Afghani dissidents who go against the duly elected government of Afghanistan.

Their misery fuels the problems we see today.
And there is no shortage of willing applicants.

What fuels the problem is the fact they are living in an occupied war-zone. That is the fact. And for the shortage of willing murderers, this is evident by the lack of organized Taliban and al-Qai'da support. Of course, this point could be argued as well, simply by pointing out the existence of the bomb.

Well, crimes occur in just about every country -- don't they?

If you're expecting next-day service on rebuilding Afghanistan, Lindy, try harping about the supposed “Coalition” of Nations to cough up the needed, and promised, support. The U.S. is getting a little overtaxed, both there, and at home, trying to cover everybody else’s butt.
