Kaboom Kabul

>If you're expecting next-day service on rebuilding Afghanistan, Lindy, try harping about the supposed “Coalition” of Nations to cough up the needed, and promised, support. >

Uh, does this have anything to do with Bush's push to punish lowly Afganistan for the crimes of 9/11 when 15 of the 17 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia, or to get rid of the Taliban conveniently for the push-through oil pipeline?
(Now with the Taliban out of the way, notice the increase in opium and heroin sales through Afganistan.......just ask the Assistant Secretary of State of State, Richard Armitage; why this is good........he's been involved with that pipeline since Vietnam.)

Here we go, shoot first, ask questions later.
(No proof back in September....no proof now).
You kids all want a VICTIM so you can hang your hat on him.
Bush started with his WAR rhetoric within hours.........he was dragging the whole country and many other nations into a war that many didn't want or could afford.
Just because the hawks on this board think that war was good, don't push it on all Americans.

>The U.S. is getting a little overtaxed, both there, and at home, trying to cover everybody else’s butt.

They should be covering OUR butt here at home as in DEFENSE, not offense.
So let's go to Iraq and create instability there and then try and rebuild it.
Ain't gonna work.
Russia and China may step in.
Then there's the problem with Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan.

We don't have the money or the resources for a long, protracted war.
Because, if we do, we risk what we have here at home for there will be much more civil unrest and martial law and curfews will be normal.
Pffttttttt.

Just my piddly bleeding liberal heart opinion.

Hiss hiss........
