Sorry that so many of us in the USA come off as so self-rightous.

We're really a very lovable and Just people for the most part. I we are more than aware that we are not perfect. We fully recognize that other people in other countries should have a right to self-determination. But sometimes the behavior of a State like Iraq becomes so anti-social that we can't take it anymore...Thank goodness that most world leaders are more rational than Sadam Hussain. Thank goodness that most nation/States have a means for getting rid of leaders before they turn into a Sadam Hussain (Democracy/Cooalition Governents/etc...)

And we really do encourage critical thought and ecourage critisism of our leaders and their decisions. But, we do get frustrated when those who see themselves as having a critical mind are not very discriminating in their use of critisism.

We are frustrated with much of Europe and the third world because their critisism is more along the lines of bashing, rather than being a constructive part of the dialogue. Lets face it, many people just love to hate the USA. On some level they must find it fun and rewarding. And they really love to hate the USA when one of those EVIL Republicans is in office.

I thinks that's why Bowser is really starting to frustrate some of the neo-conservatives on this board. But I would encourage him to hold to his guns if thats what he really believes. But has Bowser, our resident critical thinker ever agreed with anything that didn't smack of Anarchy or anti-Americanism?

Scott (Sorry if the rhetoric gets to hot to handle sometimes!)
