You are right about the lice, of course, although the analogy brings back some uncomfortable memories of Calvarymen and Indians many years ago.

I'd like to think this one village is an exception rather than the rule right now, and it doesn't take a lot of Taliban to do what is being done. Two guys, or even one, could paper a village with pamphlets and shoot a rocket at someone.
