Current Events » in reply to Plaintiff manufactured evidence

Hmmm...why didn't I think of that...

Yes, I never did a check for her old books. I took it at face value that there were books submitted into evidence.

If indeed no one has a copy of her books then it should've been easy to disprove - I wonder why that wasn't put into the articles if it's true. I wonder if any of the alleged original purchasing agents of the bookstores have records of her book.

As for Kiki - well if you want to write children's books you are usually well aware of what is one the market. Ripping off something obscure would be more likely. But only the "away from home 13 year old witch part is compatible with the Potter books."

I'll keep an open mind - she may not be a plagiarist. However titles like "Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone" don't help her case much - since as a Carl Barks fan you know that he popularized the term "philosophers stone" in an Uncle Scrooge story for children before J.K. Rowling was even born.

I confess I haven't read it yet though - so I guess I will have to force myself to read it before passing anymore judgement. Maybe it will seem more appropriate reading around harvest time, when old Druid rituals seem to fit in.
