The problem is one of balance
If we treat the users/abusers more kindly and gently, how will we be able to go after the dealers harsher and meaner?
I htink it all should be legalized, taxed and regulated.
Employers today can discriminate against smokers, they could do so against users as well.
The savings from emptying out the prison industrial complex would be vast, the crime rate would not have to go up, and those who do commit burglaries and robberies could be treated as such.
The taxes collected from use and distribution taxes could control import and distribution problems much better than today's mechanisms.
