Hello? Bush's stem cell policy applies ONLY to Federal funding of such research.
This wouldn't even be an issue if liberals were not mentally incapable of visualizing medical research that was not funded by the government. Or almost anything not funded by the government for that matter.
"What? No Federal funding? Then obviously the research is IMPOSSIBLE and will never be done!"
Private research, and research in other countries will no doubt proceed apace. Relax.
