You ain’t seen nothin’ yet!

Y'ever notice that conservatives are howling with glee about very small, usually inadvertent potatoes. Maybe people paid by the registration, who scam both sides. After stealing the Florida election in 2000 do ya think it might have something to do with taking people's minds off massive, systematic voter denial endorsed by the Supreme Court as the best political payback for being appointed by conservative Presidents?

Do you think that just maybe? Is there equivalence in someone stealing 30 cents for a candy bar and someone else stealing every poor box in every church in the land? (Heh, heh.)

Bush also isn't doing anything but campaigning these days, while drawing a salary from the entire country. Which is probably a good thing.
If he can parlay the stolen 2000 election and a lot of money into control of both the Senate and House, we’ll see adventurism like we’ve never seen before.

Let alone energy prices skyrocketing, a la CA in 2001 before Jeffords left the Republicans.

Bush Enlists Government in GOP Campaign

Election-year politicking has been honed through many presidencies. In 1992, top aides to Bush's father held "funnel meetings" to dispatch federal largess to states with upcoming primaries.

But longtime activists in both parties said this administration was setting a new standard. NASA has traditionally stayed out of campaigns because of the need for bipartisan support for its multibillion-dollar projects. But the space agency's administrator, Sean O'Keefe, has plunged into home-stretch Republican politics. He toured a technology center this week with Bob Riley, the GOP challenger for Alabama governor, and is heading to Florida to hold a town meeting on Monday with a Republican House candidate.

Arf (and I thought, and think, Reagan was bad. But, the country really, really elected him, twice. Go figure.)
