But I gave and continue to give him a chance. I was pretty quiet about him during his first year -- I think it's only fair to give someone a chance.

I give him credit for a couple of surprises he pulled:

-- Afganistan went much better than I expected.

-- He handled the China / (hmmm, memory getting worse by the second - was it a Hawkeye?) incident, with much more restraint than I expected.

Also, he seems likeable, mostly.

You want me to list the things I don't like?
