It is the one sure way to affect change in the world...Witness the discussion of the racism of past generations on the flame board: I've often though it would be really neat to go back in time and meet my great-great grandfather...The things we could discuss...But what if I fould that his view of the world (formed by his time) totally ran against everything I hold sacred...For example, what if I found him to be a complete racist?
Maybe death is part of some grand scheme to force human advancement. In time our less desirable traits, like racism or the belief that the world is flat, or that science is the work of the devil, will die out with the passing of the generations...Of course, they might be replaced with other undesireable traits...But then I digress...
