<So I stand by my previous posted opinion
that North Korea's nukes don't pose much of a strategic danger as long as they
remain on RNK's soil, but if they're sold...
Very true, but -- um...
The only way they would ever leave RNK soil is if they are:
a. sold
b. stolen
c. launched
I do agree, Jacob.
Until one of the above occur (a., b., c.), they will be looked upon as being comparatively safe to ROW. "Comparatively," since an accidental detonation would lead to fallout/irradiation issues around the northern hemisphere -- particularly for “dirty”-nukes. Worst hit would be North Korea, followed by South Korea, Japan -- and all points east, with the arctic jet-stream carrying the bits up through Alaska, then down through western Canada to the U.S. Midwest.
