McDonalds
When McDonalds starts opening restaurants in a liberated Iraq, then we will know the country and its people are on their way to prosperity. Leftists use McDonalds as a symbol of American rot, but in truth, the appearance of a McDonalds in a country often indicates at least a beginning step towards freedom and prosperity in that nation. It's kind of like those certain species of fish you look for in a stream you are cleaning up that indicate that the stream is becoming clear and unpolluted.
Interesting note: there are two McDonalds in the city of Mecca.
