Where is Iraq? Where is Afghanistan?

Excuse me? This isn't "Where is Brunei?"

These aren't 12 year olds either they're 18-24 year olds!

Who's to blame? Schools? Parents? Teachers? The media? Videogames?

Are the kids themselves incapable of learning? I don't think so! Are they undesirous of learning? Perhaps. But again, 18-24 year olds are college aged and should be expected to know these things!

Some of my few left-leaning German relatives (one who is a teacher in the "Gymnasium" imparticularly) will surely club me with this in the future - and will point out how Americans are ignorant, uninformed cowboys who shoot first, even when they are shooting in the dark blindly in any direction.

I hope it's a rigged and biased survey. The National Geographic has swung so far to the left since the late sixties, that their world's axis seems about 30 degrees off-reality. I can think of a few zip codes in America where statistically they are likely to be unable to find even America on a map.

That may comfort me for a little while.
