Nuclear weapons no secret
The evidence that Saddam has been enthusiastically pursuing the development of nuclear weapons for many years is public knowledge, hardly any kind of intelligence secret. Whether Bush states it or not officially is as irrelevant as waiting for him to pronounce that the sun comes up in the East.
This leaves us with the same choice I started out with: Take him out, or wait until he has the weapons and count on his civilized behavior?
