Maybe God doesn't want us to have a good time with sex, and having unwanted babies is his way of punishing us for doing so. So having abortions is interfering with God's punishment of evil. As for those innocent babies having to be punished even though they had nothing to do with it, well, isn't that what Original Sin is all about?
