Don't know that can be said accurately.

Any "war" on Iraq by the US will not be a "war". It will be a slaughter. The US knows that, the ROW knows that, and the Iraqis know that.

Only common, human decency keeps huge nations from invading smaller nations and confiscating their wealth. That is one aspect of a higher civilization. When that decency is gone, you have a slaughter, the rule of the jungle.

Been that way forever.

Humans like to think they've evolved past that.

The Iraqi citizens, being very much like other people around the world, not wanting to be slaughtered by an overwhelming force, will not "fight" very hard, even if they could. It's hard for the average schmuck anywhere in the world to "fight" B-52s, rockets, missiles, and all the other stand-off weapons.

The story of MASADA is impressive because a relatively small group refused to throw themselves to the mercy of a larger force. And that story is repeated because it is so rare.

I don't think I'd call 'em "Anti-Saddam Efforts" as much as resignation, much what France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Denmark, Norway and other countries experienced in WWII.
