The South Koreans are suffering from what the West Germans did just before the Wall collapsed.
They were very suspicious of Americans, very much thinking that the USSR was not so bad, that the East Germans were just OK.
The pacifist movement was quite strong over there.
When the East finally collapsed, and the truth was made clear, it was a real wake-up call.
NK has worked very very hard to lull the SKs into believing they are really just OK guys.
I hope a lot of people don't have to die to demonstrate just how false that delusion is.
Be careful, Justin.
