Some folks never learn...and many in South Korea now simply don't remember.

The "sunshine" policy is not going to work with North Korea - it certainly didn't work with the USSR.

Blowing "sunshine" and flowers up N.Korea's tush will only reaffirm the "Clinton passiveness and permissiveness atmosphere" that amounted to saying,

"Please be good guys. Please don't build nuclear weapons. We'll give you money and oil if you don't! Please, we're all sweet peaceful folks."

An atmosphere which has led to increased contempt of US strength as well as an opportunity to develop nuclear weapons.

Not a good thing.
