RL to posit that higher education is open to conservative political beliefs
is to ignore the facts.
Academia is not at all open to conservative thinking.
Conservative speakers regularly get censored at Universitites.
Conservative publications get trashed.
That is the way it is.
The left has a tremendous history of killing intellectuals. To posit that only fascists do that is to ignore the facts.
Extremists are the enemy of the diverse, and extremists can be of the left or right.
A first step in preventing that is to admit the facts into the discussion.
