The NKs have millions of hostages
Thanks to years of US appeasement.
That the current Administration has to move delicately is no surprise.
The failure of the 1994 agreement throughout the 90's and the US reluctance to enforce the agreement in any meaningful way during that time gave the NKs years to develop the tools to make this crisis very dangerous indeed.
Bush will have to step lightly to avoid a NK apocalypse against South Korea, Japan and the US forces in the region.
This very difficult problem is a perfect example of why tyrants must be prevented from acquiring the means to project their terror against the innocent.
