I can't locate the post, but one of the liberals here said charity from a church doesn't really count. In fact, a lot of liberals don't think ANY private charity counts.
It's pathetic that conservatives have to trot out their private, voluntary charitable "bona fides" to justify themselves as compassionate, while liberals, whose core beliefs demand the looting of others for their "charity," never need to justify themselves as compassionate. It's always assumed as a given.
