why not do it on the basis of economic standing rather than race. A poor white student from the swamps of Louisanna has the same academic handicaps of a poor black student from the inner city. Why not treat them the same? Why should race even enter into the equation?
Practicing racial discrimination in order to end it is like burning the village in order to save it.
