Please read the following article by a former Washington DC teacher.

For the record, Washington DC spends more per pupil than any other district in the country, some $12,000 per student per year. Please read that article and tell me how more money would solve the problems that teacher encountered. At least vouchers and other options like charter schools would give some of the students a chance to get out of academic hell-hole schools like the one in the article.
