That low blow is absolutely pathetic, but priceless. The appearance of the predictable smear campaign is a good signal that the antiwar movement is making its voice heard, and it's always informative to see whose pen is loaded with which venom.
Grassroots organizations of a wide and disparate variety are behind the peace movement, and more are joining daily, but most of the marchers really don't know, and couldn't care less who organized any particular march.
Those who take to the streets are certainly not beholden to anyone or anything other than their own honest desire to speak out against the plans for war. That's the common thread which unites those who march, no matter who secured the original permit, who tries to take credit for it, or who is accused of being an "America-hater."
