I am pragmatic
If something doesn't work the way you intended, it was probably a mistake. The Bush policy and his reference to the "Evil Axis" is still playing out. We have yet to see if it is good, bad or indifferent.
On the other hand, the tried and failed appeasement policies favored by Europe are proven to be dismal.
A good pragmatist is always ready to discard the useless. Bush has two more years to confirm that his methods are at least better than offered alternatives.
