Don't bury the good the Republicans have done and allow the only the ill to live on.
Just because the Republicans have turned a surplus into a deficit of $300 billion, have driven the debt up 13.3% (in dollar terms this is $750 billion in the past two years) is no reason for you to be mean to them.
The massive unemployment, the trade deficit that has the US spending $1.5 billion more from foreigners then we sell them might have you a little upset.
But don't forget the good they have done. Why gold has risen from $255 per oz. when Bushey took office to $360 per oz. today. Look at this progress.
The Republicans have made a major effort to halt the excessive spending in most of the individual states. Since their revenues are waaay down, services and programs have been cut way back.
Of course this is counter-productive to the avowed philosophy because now the people are looking to the Federal government to help in the things the States traditionally provided. But all programs can't be successful, can they?
Right now, New York is short of funding their programs by $10 billion and Calilfornia is running a deficit of $1,000. for every man, woman, and child in that state.
Just because the Bush Republican economy has the odor of aged sushi, I have to remind you we are about to invade another nation and this is not the proper time to be talking about the economy.
I mean are you unpatriotic or something?
We poor folk that depend on dividends are thrilled over what the Republicans are doing for us. And Greenspan's pumping out over $6,000. in new dollars for every new ounce of gold has kept the interest rate down, which has helped the real estate and building industry.
Oh, don't neglect the way the low interest rates have helped our margin accounts at the stock market. Why we can get free money by buying GM stock and collecting 6% dividends while paying 3% on our margin account.
Just because the Clinton years produced some 200,000 jobs a month for Americans, and 67,000 a month have been lost during the Bush administration, I think you are being too hard on them.
