I'm not accusing ANYONE here of actually supporting Saddam. I just notice a tendency of many people to bend over backwards to give Iraq the benefit of the doubt in any conflicting statements or situations between Iraq and the U.S.
And frankly, I don't give a rat's ass about splitting hairs on U.N. resolution fine print. I personally think it was a mistake to involve them in this way in the first place.
