Hi Tony,
Don't you post from Australia?
It's interesting to hear what people have to say about Bush from their perspective that live in other countries.
FACTS like those you quoted, just don't seem to matter to most Americans.
>"To go to the UN in the first place if you dont beleive in the UN's role.
To play games at the Security Council to push through a resolution you already think you have a mandate for.
To read UN 1441 as a mandate for military action - when no part of it says so.
To allow inspections to proceed despite saying they are useless.
To undermine inspections by withholding evidence, then claiming inspections aren't working."
You may be right, but the "Right" here don't want to hear it.
There is something about many Americans that think Bush is the best thing since sliced bread.
However, it is becoming more apparent that many don't agree, not only here at home, but abroad.
Tonight's speech will either gain wide acceptance, or gain us more opponents.
Because the whole world will be watching.
My guess?
His speechwriters/corporate raiders/backers/advisors/chicken hawks will plug their Big Bad Wolf drama all over again, like those Middle Eastern countries, or those on the "Axis of Evil", or even those other old super powers named on the possible Nuke-em list, should all be quaking in their boots by the time he's finished.
Better get out the Mylanta.
Matter of fact, go load up on supplies.....you're going to need it.
