Andrew Sullivan rips Bush on budget
In his entries for February 10.
He's got some good points. Tax cuts need to be accompanied by spending discipline, and I'm not seeing Bush putting on the brakes as much as I would like. Maybe the House will do some trimming--it seems to be the best repository of fiscal conservatives left in Washington. Remember the Reagan years--the tax cuts doubled revenues, but spending STILL kept ahead of it, resulting in deficits.
