I computed my federal income taxes yesterday. It seems the $20,000 they withheld wasn't enough. No, I've got to write a check for another $2,227 on top of that. That $22K doesn't even cover state income tax, Social Security tax, Medicare tax, vehicle use tax, utilities taxes, phone taxes, gas taxes, sales taxes or the host of other "contributions" to a "civilized society" for 2002. The Beetles got it right.
