*For all you children out there, I'm referring to Dick Clark, the one and only host of American Bandstand, which I watched with curlers in my hair on Saturday afternoons throughout my childhood and teenage years. He'd pick two kids out of the studio party and play two new releases. They would rate the songs on a 1-10 scale. I never saw one get below a 6.

Mr. Clark's clone can still be seen on network TV on New Year's Eve. ;)

His plastic surgeon is better than Cher's, though: his face doesn't look tight enough to bounce a quarter on it.
