<The Air Force did not protect us on 911, and the Pentagon - headquarters to the world's most powerful military - did not defend itself

Please read this phrase over several times, and then let me know if you see ANY problems with it. Anybody else have any trouble seeing the basic flaw here?

Okay, so much for subtle...

"This is General Halftrack to all Air Force bases! Don't scramble any of the planes on this alert. All part of the Big Plan, you know. Now I've just heard that two airliners are headed for DC, and I really feel like having a 767 fly up my ass, so I'm ordering all Pentagon defenses shut down and I'm just going to sit here in my office smoking a cigarette with a blindfold on. Halftrack out!"
