<--Saddam has no weapons of mass destruction. If we invade, he will attack us with weapons of mass destruction.
--We can't risk civilian casualties to free Iraq from a man who has killed a million of his own people, and shows no signs of quitting.
--We are acting unilaterally, although only about three nations in Europe are not aligned with us.
--Terrible political upheaval in the Mideast will result from removing Saddam, yet leaving him and his sons there to rule for decades, tyrants who have invaded their neighboring nations in the past, will not result in political upheaval in the Mideast.
And most ironic of all, there seems to be a constant fear that Bush and the Republicans will somehow work this all up into the type of totalitarian control that has been, for the past century, almost exclusively the product of regimes, nations, leaders and philosophies that are worshipped and promoted by the Left.
--All the protestors think Saddam should disarm, but don't think he should be forced to. None of the protestors like his regime, but believe he should remain in power.
