This particular gentleman has been on my auto-ignore list for quite some time, so I really have no idea of the substance, if any, of his posts, nor do I have any intention of digging back through all of that screed now to prove my point.

If we're going to have discussion, I'm willing to participate, but one need only scroll down a little to see that most of what goes on here is nothing less than <href="http://www.habitablezone.com/currentevents/messages/42408.html">off topic, no-text taunting, wise-cracks, cheap shots, one-liners, and all the rest of it.

Anything, that is, but serious discussion.

Of course, one could easily reach the obvious conclusion that serious discussion is the last thing some here really want.

For those who are willing to engage in honest dialogue, I always welcome your comments and take pains to compose a thoughtful response, but I must note that there does indeed come a time when the ants finally do spoil the picnic.
