could come to pass whether we do anything or not.
The one thing that would not come to pass is a country that is a secular paragon with a western style democracy.
Is success a certainty? Not at all but what a wonderful and world changing example it could be if it is successful. The biggest risk is to USA money and prestige. The world will be no worse for our having tried to make it better.
