When should the US call "time" on Turkey?
It appears the Saturday vote in the Turkish Parliament has failed due to a technicality. Reading between the lines, it looks like they're playing games with us. The US supposably has 40 ships waiting off the Turkish coast to unload equipment.
When is it time to call it quits on the Turkish negotiations, keep the multi-billion dollar bribe and redirect the ships to Kuwait? If we're forced to invoke a one front strategy against Saddam then we're sure to lose more people. This is a tough decision.
