OK Matt, as I understand it, you are in favor of increasing the pain and suffering of those that have caused pain and suffering to others. Correct?
Now, I have no clear knowledge as to why people of various countries, in the present or the past, have taken it upon themselves to cause pain and suffering to other people, but I am interested in knowing your motivation for increasing the suffering of other people?
If you do succeed in inflicting or increasing the suffering of other people, then do they have the right to inflict suffering on you. What makes it RIGHT to inflict or increase suffering of people?

Should I have the right to kill the person that killed my nephew?
Should a group of people have the right to kill a person that has killed someone?
What is the difference between a lynch mob and a jury?
What is it that makes YOU valuable to the human race?
Does humanity have a common goal? (Other than mutual destruction)

Would it not be better to work together towards a common goal, rather than trying to destroy each other?

I understand that there are both good and bad people in this world, but what I do not understand fully is the bad side of people. Is badness in people caused by stupidity, fear, mental problems, or something else?
