Both say that they are against war, each has a different view of the way the world should be run, and both are willing to fight (to the death I suppose) so that their philosophy would be adapted by everyone on Earth.
I can draw some information from this small example and try to answer some of my own questions.
The questions were:
Is badness in people caused by stupidity, fear, mental problems, or something else?

I do not consider Matt or Ann to be ‘bad’, but it seems to me that both are ‘fearful’ of ‘loosing’ their ideology to the ‘control’ of someone else’s ideology.
Matt seems to be saying that low morality, such as Saddam Hussein’s, is bad and Ann seems to be saying that high morality, such as that of “Right wing Christians” (who ever they are) is bad.
It also seems to me that neither person is willing to understand or even listen to the view points presented by the ‘other side’. Perhaps this again is caused by fear.
Paranoia is an extreme form of fear that could be considered a mental problem.
Stupidity is a lack of knowledge and understanding.

Perhaps I would understand Matt and Anne’s views better if they would answer the following questions. (I admit that I am stupid in the area of understanding these people.)

For Matt: Would you please show me the evidence that indicates Saddam Hussein being a barbarian and a bloody tyrant. (I have heard about it but have not seen it) Also how would you behave if you were in Saddam Hussein’s position right now?

For Anne: I have not encountered any “Right wing Christian morality crusaders” could you explain their views to me?
Please give me your definition of “Capitalist pig” and explain why you are afraid of them.
Please explain “reality of moral relativism”. Is it something like Nirvana?

Anne, you asked me to define pain and suffering, well, it is difficult to explain something that must be felt. I suppose that you have not felt pain or suffered in your lifetime. But then, it is a fact that one needs a brain to feel anything

Hmmm; -- ‘sticks and stones’.-- ‘you can catch more fly’s with honey’, --‘truth hurts’, -- Perhaps I should re-phrase my supposition.

Perhaps you have been hurt somehow by the “Right wing Christian morality crusaders” and the “Capitalist pigs”. Would you please explain what they have done to you. Perhaps you are in pain and are suffering, if we know what is causing your pain, perhaps it can be cured.
