Yes, of course...

It was the close of a long day. In Camp David there is an obvious respite from the noise and sounds of the Capital in D.C. and the overriding feeling is peaceful.

I sit next to a roaring hearth, visiting with the President and Powell, who are revising the international diplomatic thrusts, a call comes in and is transferred to Bush immediately. I watch as he first looks out across the room to the fireplace and listens, than he shouts, "That's great. Arrange to give that team of boys a bonus from Uncle Sam." After a few more moments of detailed discussion, Bush closes the scrambled cellular phone.

Bush turns to everyone, "That was Condoleezza with the news that our forces bagged Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks!"

Cheers erupt simultaneously throughout the room. A foreign dignitary seated to the left of Bush lifts his glass of Dom Perignon 1995 and proposes a toast to the success of the war on terror. I raise my glass and find the full bodied and aromatic taste reminiscent of citrus fruit.

Bush stood up and said, "As you go to bed tonight and hold your private parts - while thinking of your immense bank accounts, don't forget to think of how we screwed Khalid Shaikh Mohammed!"

Everyone laughed and already looked eagerly forward to evening and bedtime when they could think of all those column place zeroes growing daily in their bank accounts and how they screwed their enemies and business partners. Someday the column would shift from 8 to nine places...aaaaahhh.

LOL! That seems a logical reality doesn't it!

"I think they go to bed dreaming of
the "Men Who Ruled the World", or some such thing, warmly clutching their privates with a smile on their face re-thinking their bank accounts and all the guys and business partners they screwed that day."

Lindy, I don't even know where to begin with this one.

Who exactly goes to bed clutching their privates thinking about their bank accounts? Bush? Powell? Rumsfeld? Cheney? Tommy Franks? Tenet?

I think you've created your own little "Bush government" where everyone is not a normal human but some monsters conjured up as a figment of liberal imagination - given birth to by reading the delusional rants in countless propaganda and hate-Bush sites.

If someone actually does go to bed thinking about their bank accounts - it is probably the hate mongers who are making a fortune by selling worthless t-shirts, bumper stickers and other junk to protesters on their spew-filled websites.
