Re: The Right to Have an Opinion, even if it Means Nothing

<There are no easy answers to the current problems and I think we need to move carefully and with co-operation.

I agree, the very presense of our military force in the region at this moment is beginning to have an effect.
I still strongly believe Hussien has to go, and I truly believe it will require military action to do so. It is my considered opinion that the sooner we do this, the better. With or without the aprroval, implicit or not, of the rest of the world. Would I like to see a strong resolution from the UN for action, of course. Do I think we'll get it, doubtful.
But, if Hussien is allowed to continue as he has for the last 12 years, any weapons he develops will eventually end up in a Terrorist Organization's hands. Want to make one guess as to which country will be their preferred target?

A Sarin attack on the NY subways system would result in far more causualties than the WTC and Pentagon. A release of Botulism Toxin in a major water supply will do worse. I don't even want to ponder the effects of an Nuclear attack, dirty bomb or actual Fission weapon. The Jinn has escaped, we have to deal with it the only way we can now.

I also believe strongly that a diversity of opinions is one factor that makes the US what it is.

You are entitiled to your opinions, and have the right to state them within certain bounds.

I have my own opinions, and have the same right.

The both of us also have the right to publicly call the other an idiot. A right I have, and will exercise as I think applicable.
