The Media is saying bombs, bombs, and more bombs, followed by a quick encirclement of Central Iraq.

I think this is close to what will happen; however, I think the encirclement will will be contemporaneous to the Bombs falling.

I think we have pretty good info on where the real pockets of resistence will be, plus a distinct mobility advantage. As a result, I expect our troops to move way ahead of supply lines and take on Republican guard and other "hardened" targets almost immediatly. This will "suprise" most of them into surrender and/or destruction very early on in the fighting.

I also expect to see a lot of C-130 gunship action...as we search out and destroy pockets of resistance.
