I have cross-checked many (but not all, it is the 11th hour, after all) of the facts set forward in the links below. I urge you all to do the same as well. Again, I think that this info displays that there is no justification for war whatsoever. If you support this war, you don't do it on reason and fact, and therefore I claim you are either behaving ignorantly and/or irrationally- which makes you at least a party to murder (unjustified slaughter of other people).

Claim: "We must attack because he is harboring/connected to terrorism"

Retort1 : *If* there are Al-Queda operating in Iraq, they are operating out of the kurdish area (who are supposedly our allies)

Claim: Saddam is a IMMINENT threat to the region and even more, to America and must be dealt with in haste to prevent a 'germaneque' situation

Retort 2: Saddam is deterred, contained and in a box and will not use WMD unless attacked- the state of the last 12 years! The head of the CIA agrees....

Claim: It is ABSOLUTELY CLEAR that Iraq is conducting a covert nuclear program. As such, we must invade before it bears fruit, and that is why we must go to war.

Retort 1: The facts don't support this..

Evidence 1: Hamza, the primary source for much data on Iraqs nuke efforts, is not a trusted source

Evidence 3: While strong indication of Chem/Bio has been found by the inspectors, there is no evidence of nuke activity. [can not find good link to the testamony on Blix and Elbaradei, but I previously read the transcript and this is a fair summation.

I will not argue against the posession for Chem/Bio WMD, I don't think that case can be made. However, in this case I point to the deterrence factor I have stated again and again.

So, what again is the point of this war? What thin justification is next? How many more times do I have to put these justifications to rest before there are non left?

To all war supporters: If you will not act of reason and fact, and will proceed to kill/advoocate killing in the absence of reason and fact how much better are you than the terrorists? What makes you that much different?
