Possibly. Dunno. The kurdish 'issue' is the most bizzare facet of the already insane middle east. Saddam helps the PKK (a Kurdish group) kill Kurds, another Kurdish group works with saddam. Turky funds the Kurds with the left hand and shoots them with the right hand. I really tried to study this issue, but I end up with a migraine every time. Its worse than Aghan politics. In fact, turkey could be said as suppoorting terrorism based on some of its Kurdish policies.
