It's also possible that our reputation for avoiding collateral damage precedes us. I remember people in Afghanistan who were confident that for the most part, the Americans would be going after the bad guys, and not them.
I'd like to know if the leadership is calmly having parties, or changing their pants every time a loud noise occurs.
I understand in a few bunkers it is a shooting offense to be seen carrying an inflated paper bag...
