What if there was one US officer on duty in Hong Kong or Vietnam recently. They get a posting to go to Iraq to fight Bush's holy war. Would they pass that up just because they have a bit of a fever and a dry cough? Suck it up, soldier! There's battles to be fought! And how much attention would anyone there be paying to his symptoms, including himself, or to prevention of minor disease transmission. What if that officer were a chaplain or some such who visits and glad-hands many soldiers? (hey, has Bush been to SE Asia recently? He looked a little peaked the last time I saw him on TV...)

As I said, a "what if"... but not impossible by a good ways.
