This is precisely my problem with the dedicated left. Acting as if every action by the right must be countered regardless of whether the action is appropriate in the current context. America has acted outrageously in the last century in my opinion and is the cause of much of the problems with international opinion it has today. Most of the third world countries we supported in the cold war we should not have. We should have simply let that bogus economic system spread and collapse of its own ineptitude. However, that does not mean every application of American power is inappropriate. The are in my opinion several times when we should have used it that we did not to prevent genocide. The right and left need to get together to establish appropriate us of power rather than the adhoc administration dependent method used currently.
